On wings of songs
I cant believe it, haha.
First time attending a christian wedding and i performed in it, weehee.
Well, it wasnt that bad afterall (referring to our playing). The special item was the one that i didnt like, since everyone was looking at us, and it was the favourite song of dont know who. AND THE ORIGINAL KEY HAS 4 FLATS..so we ask chris to transpose it to C major =P
but i started my very first note on an E flat =.=
and i got lost somewhere in the middle... thats why its a very bad idea to get the score 10 mins before the actual thing, and make your sightreading very challenging.
Canon in D and arrival of queen sheeba was great, potential rushing piece and we didnt. HAHA, and we improvised some parts while playing. Hymns were fine.
The groom held the wrong hand when giving the bride the ring...
And he kissed her on the cheeks only, so shy. Well i wanted to play the piece we played at HAVEN when Julian got shot by the Japanese =P
I like playing in quartets, well at least i dont freak out like i used to. My bow doesnt shake now.
And chung told me, 14 years later...

The scheduling is just killing me, maybe you all should take a look at it when i send it out. Basically we never had a concert in March before, and now we have that plus SYF, so do expect something you have never expected before.
Reading session was the highlight of the week though. Dvorak 9th is indeed a super fun piece, apart from the double sided printing which screwed up our counting. A second violin has nice melody, better than beethoven 5th where we played the melody only ONCE. And i must admit the first violin was sort of too strong, 13 players - mostly pros...
Cant wait for next year to start,
Seriously
